Rapstar Sim does not collect, transmit or sell any information about you. There is no account, no analytics, and no advertising.
This version can talk to Google Play — to sell you something, to give back a purchase you already made, and to tell you an update exists. Nothing else about your privacy changed, and nothing about you is sent anywhere.
Your career — songs, albums, cash, the whole save file — is written to storage on your own device and nowhere else. It is never uploaded. Uninstalling the app deletes it permanently, and there is no backup that could be restored for you.
If you set a custom album cover, the image you pick is copied into the app's own storage so the artwork survives your gallery changing. That copy stays on your device. The app reads nothing else from your photos and sends nothing anywhere.
The app requests network access, and uses it for exactly three things, all of them Google Play: buying something in the store, restoring a purchase you already made, and checking whether a newer version exists. There is no server of ours to contact, because we do not run one. Picking an album cover uses the system photo picker, which hands over the one image you selected and grants no access to the rest of your library.
Purchases are processed entirely by Google Play. We never see your card, your name or your billing address — the app is only told that a purchase completed, and it records that on your device. There is no receipt of yours stored anywhere else.
The game is not directed at children under 13. It contains simulated themes of fame, money and mortality, and an explicit-lyrics toggle that changes labels only.
If this policy ever changes — for example if a future version adds advertising or in-app purchases — the updated policy will ship with that version and the date above will change. Nothing is applied retroactively to data that never left your device.
